What next for my smiter?? - Page 2

Not for the main 3, but when you have alot of minions left it goes through them quick so you can grab the torch. Plus it gives you many more chances to cast the hellfire spell from your torch, which is about the only way I kill those immune to physical guys in there.

Yes. Zeal = waste of points, unless you are making a godly Zealer with perfect gear, in which case it won't suck as much.

So is zealer even good for ubering like killing Diablo, Baal, Meph??

EDIT: Godly built zealer with the right gear.

Like I said, it sucks big time pvp. But I play alot of pvm, and it helps me out quite a bit with the larger groups of monsters.

Zeal sucks big time for doing ubers, because it attacks multiple targets, instead of the one you are really going after. So it's not advised for killing the ubers, I only switch to it after the big 3 are dead.

Zeal is underpowered even for PvM. Most properly build characters can kill those groups a lot faster.

Smite is only for übers or PvP.
Zeal just sucks.

I wasn't saying that zeal is fantastic for pvm, I was saying that the smiter I have, I like to use him pvm occasionly, that's why I chose to add some points to zeal to help that out. But you're correct about zeal being underpowered the whole way round.

umm hope im not going off topic with this question but what about that other skill under zeal i think it is the Fire, Cold, Light damage one.

Vengeance? I put one point in that too, just goofing off. It sucks even more than zeal, doesn't attack as fast, and the elemental dmg wasn't as expected.

Yeah Vengeance I would like to see a guide on this build with its max damage, gear..etc I bet it would do some nice damage if it was maxed with all its synergies?

Vengeance doesn't add elemental damage into your attack, as far as I remember, it amplifies already existing elemental damage, therefore with a lot of stacked elemental damage off your gear, you could do decent damage.

The build is called an Avenger. Tried it a while ago, unfortunately,

it sucked.

Ahh I did not know that, I thought it just added damage to your attack. But yes the skill is not good for pvp or pvm.
