Hey, i just made a Hdin, and im having trouble in a4 and a5 of hell/ i wanna be able to do chaos and baal runs but not sure why my paladin isn't so strong

here's the set-up

another problem. my merc using andy helm, eth ancient fort, 17 med CV, but for some reason i calways run out of mana when tping, is this supposed to happen?

HELM: SHAKO unsocket (dont have yet, will get it when my friend gets back from vacation)
ARMOR: Ap NIGMA
SHIELD: HOZ
WEP: HOTO
BELT: SPIDER (dont have yet, will get it when my friend gets back from vacation)
RING1: Fcr, some resist +str
RING2: Fcr, some resist
GLOVE: magefist
BOOTS: TREKS

STR: near base, probably put like 20 so points in cuz i dont have anni ;\
DEX: none
VIT: MOST
ENERGY: none

remaining points, i donno how many i should put into DEX, not sure how max block works.

anyways, if anyone can help me out taht would be great

does he have cta in 2nd wep, torch, anni, gcs, life sc? those can help big time if u dont have em

i play uswest ladder, and in my opinion the rates r hella weird.

but how much u think a 3bo cta goes for 3 hr?

For any Hammerdin to be at least decent, you need to have 125%FCR. I suggest you do this:
Circlet +2 pala 20%fcr +mods
HOTO
Enigma
Zaka
Arach
Magefists
Treks
Amu +2 pala 15%fcr +mods
fcr ring w/ mods
SOJ

Obviously anni + torch are nobrainers nowadays. I assure that with this setup you will be kicking a lot of ass. Also, since you are not going for max block, you could substitute Zaka for Spirit (i.e. Vortex +45 allresi, 35%fcr)
so you can use Shako and 2xSoJ, etc. Just play around a little, but it's absolutely vital that you hit 125%fcr.

FHR to aim for would be at least 48% (86% would be ideal), so if you use Spirit, you're already a way there.

If your merc dies, you have to reequip his Insight so that the aura will start working once again.

And like somebody mentioned beforehand, definately get CTA.

hm, i know for sure my insight is on cuz i re-equpt but i still run out of mana while teleporting

Get nightlight mod, skill meditation and you can teleport with meditatin on. Nightlight mod allows auras to be used under the left skill.
