Auradin Clarafication - Blizzard Sector

I've read in places that the 1 point in hollyfire to get convic negates the aura stack, if so then how do the fire auradins I see rape so bad compared to mine (compared gear, almost exactly the same)

I've tried on singleplayer but cannot notice any differenence between w/ the 1 pnt and without

Gear I'm using:
Um'd Perf Kiras
Hoj Phase
Dragon armor/shield
Maras (used to be slipps)
Upd Bfists
Dungos
Raven/bk
E-Treks
9x deffensive gcs (was told these help, noticable differenct albiet small)
anni/torch

if u tested it urself, i dont think u need anymore proof. I seriously doubt it would affect, unless ur USING ur own holy fire AND the items, then it might, but otherwise i doubt it..

You can't always take single players word for it, especially w/ pvp cause if u did smite would suck..

Fine.. lemme simplify the question, WTF am i doing wrong here? same build/items that everyone else uses and yet im doin 1/3, probobly less damage. Saw an auradin named AnalSepage ( i think that was his name) and he had a godly auradin. I have same skills and items he had but he could get peopel in 1 or 2 auraburns. Mine took 5-7. I know fire doesnt range much in damage (unlike lite) so its not like thats the case.

are u sure u were close enough that ur conviction actually affected the others? were u dueling the same people wearing the same gear when dueling u and him?
auradins are kinda complicated

auradins r very glitchy. there's a bunch of crap

I was lucky enough to have friends let me test the damage I did and the damage the other auradin did vs various types of characters in a priv game (just so no on else bothered us) and we only compared the damages given after the conviction aura had set in. Sry if I seemed a bit testy in my last post but I've remade this guy 6 times already each time tryin out different sets of gear and skills.

It took some searchin but its not at the actual arreats summit, its the battle.net forums. They have some guides sure (6months old or so) and I'm pretty much doing what they mention. Maybe its just my crap luck

Maybe I'll keep it for pubbing cause I met a druid who laughed till my aura took out his ele-shield/sage/wolves they he ran
