I think we are all overlooking the abilities of a fury zerker...especially an eth glitched one i saw the other day on a pally...that guy owned everyone he faced.
If you remember the beginning to this thread the question was what one handed pally weapon was best BESIDES BoTd. For an Avenger Gimmershreds are awesome. Jewb I have one for trade if you want. I am a lvl 77 Freeze Pally and use Heavens Light. -33 target def, very fast attack, +2-3 all skills, crush blow and 2 sockets. I put two eth in it so now -88 target def. The plus skills really pumps cold dam. I have 90% crush blow and it is so powerful! For Skarz when I face Ice Immunes I switch to Demon Limb for the huge Fire dam. Also Crescent Moon would be a great weapon for an Avenger. Runword (forgot how spelt) lowers light resist, casts chain lightning and static. AWESOME! Better than lightsabre.
well...if you remember the beginning to this thread the question was what one handed pally weapon was best besides BoTd AND other runewords, so that rules out both fury and crescent moon. also, demonlimb, despite its high fire dmg, is too slow for practical uses other than enchanting for AR boost. due to its low dmg, i seriously wouldnt consider using lightsaber unless i have some seriously c ocky fohers/trappers to deal with.
i'm a vengeance pali :P *wanted to try out the synergies versus dc* and was wondering what best wep would be... something 1 handed... w/ias... and hella dmg *vengeance elemental dmg based on phys dmg* so... bstar doesn't really work for me.... but in it's stead what should i use? any suggestions? except botd zerker, i'm not that rich
Hmm... Baranars star for vengers... good stuff. Lots of extra elemental. I put an 80 to lightning dmg jewel in it for 280 lightning dmg :P. Plus, 200% AR on it is awesome.. if you have accuracy problems, baranars the answer
i think it's probably worth about an um rune now. schaefer's (yes, that is how it's spelled) is rather slow. if the lack of spd doesn't bother u or u have no problem getting extra ias, go for it.
Just to point out, I said to use Demon limb as a SWITCH weapon for Freezots when dealing with ice immunes. Even though it is not super fast when using Holy Freeze your enemies are slowed 55%. It will not matter and you would only use it for immunes. You would have Zeal maxed so you have no problems with AR. The comment was directed towards Freezot builds. :
only like 1/3 of these posts actually recommend things that fit the parameters of my initial, not that I care anymore cuz i don't play but when i did, i did use shaefers....and it wen't pretty well, although i was forced to choose between eth'ing or shael'ing it, the tradeoff was, if i used eth, i lost the ias but hit more often.... then of course, shael just meant ias, so i decided to eth it and use highlord's instead of angelics (which i would have used if i'd shael'd it.. ) so yeah, that's how that worked out, i used 2x bk's (just cuz i wanted leech rings, and the life wasn't all bad...) and highlord's, upg'd myrm Gore's, it was great :)

My pally is going to be a Zealot with maxed Zealot, Sacrifice, Holy Freeze, and Resist Cold What wep would you guys suggest for this? I was leaning towards Shaeffers or Stone Crusher but I've never made a pally before so I dunno what would be best?
