what were ur other gear?

gear is um.... 524 base def 11% ed archon plate fort, cham 40/15% coa, vortex is like 200 def phoenix ,
steelrends, angelic ring,ring, amy, perf dr verd, high ebotd zerker and uped gores i think and about 25 3-20-20s. lvl 92 or so i think skills were maxed with sacrifice, zeal, fant, holy shield, defiance which still needs some pts.

wellll i dont give a shit about those "bad habbits"! Everything is melee in a life tap....People just make their char in consequence of it....u know in 1.09 leech life was possible for all chars...in 1.10 Blizz made items that has leech life....thats something that "good" people can afford...mayb dracs r cheap but its some kind of luxual for alot of person...and iff u can "BUY" a leech life, get it and use it well cuz 99% will use it and have FUN to get ur *** with ll.....maybe Exile is the Best melee shield....im sure my combination of exile,fort(sacred),bercham coa,dungos,rends,uped gore and botdZ high% makes u kick some ***! VIVA DA LEECH LIFE

sry. i really don't see how u could've gotten 35k def with that gear. i've done the calculations several times already. what do u prebuff with?

prebuf with um.... i had per bo cta+spirit on switch then i took off my shield and got hit a few times so chilling armor activated then i put back on the armor and activated holy shield. def was +30k

not that i'm deliberately trying not to believe u or anything, but the only way i could calculate 30k+ defense (other than using +def charms) was if there were 8-10 pcombat gcs used. is that what u use?

in my calcs, i've taken into account:
- base defense from all equip and dex-based def
- holy shield def (assumed that u maxed it)
- holy shield synergy from defiance (assumed that u maxed it)
- chilling armor
- all potential +skills items and the skills that they boost

i dunno how much it would help if u posted screenshots. might be nice tho, if u feel like it.

my bad, i think i had 10 combats instead of um... 3-20-20s. thats probly why. yes hs is maxed defiance is almost maxed, chilling armor was on and base def was pretty high.

because of ur pcombats tho, u may have slightly lower ar and dmg than u would if u used dmg/ar or just ar charms.

true lower ar but pcombats add to zeal dmg if im not mistaken, then again, phoenix adds 400% more dmg then a 65% exile shield vs a 465% phoenix shield.

which is very wat i havemostly but im using death runeword on war spike -.- i have 12 k with my gear -.- just horrible and i dont get how ppl have such high d >.< just not fair !

a pcombat add 6% to zeal dmg, whereas a +10 max dmg gc adds...well...+10 base max dmg, which is the equivalent of having 10 higher max dmg on ur weapon, which is much more than 6% off-weapon ed. AR charms also add more than the 10% from a pcombat.

looking at ur gear, u only have the helm and belt to get DR. assuming berber coa and verdungo for optimum DR, u'll need one raven frost for CBF, which gets u a lot lower AR than dual angelics.

basically, i think u should just stick with typical max/ar/life charms rather than pcombats. yes, u'll have lower def, but the extra dmg, ar and life will more than make up for it. defense, i must say, is quite overrated. if i were given a choice between 5k higher AR and 5k higher def, i'd take the AR without hesitation.
