The Japanese did invented it, and i have no idea why they are getting their's released 2 weeks before the U.S. First time that probably happen. Weird huh?

no i doubt it...
maybe after a year or so will the price go down
but it is still a bargin compared to PS3 and XBOX 360

thats cuz game cude sucked i doubt the Wii will becuase its nintendos "final fantasy" to speak.

Be careful what you say when using the word "sucked" because based on the word one could say the other systems "suck" because they cost more than GC. If something "sucks" then it has some kind of repellent which detracts a certain amount of interest in an individual. Instead, explain properly what this detractor is and speak individually, not generally, because whenever I played games such as Super Smash Bros Melee, Baten Kaitos, or Prince of Persia series on GC it was always enjoyable. -jedi

Gamecube sucked because of an inferior controller and lack of online capabilities. Sorry if this is "reviving" but this was at the top of the list.

I might end up with a Wii anyways cuz of the price tag.
