revolution genral chat - Blizzard Sector

THe Revolution isn't the real name, it is just a code name, I hope they pick a cool name for it. I am glad that I am not the only nintendo kid left.

I get nintendo power and they have stated that they are not in the download service to make money, the download service is all for us, not them, so they will deffinitly make it cheep, and even if you don't want to spend money than you can sure find some illegal way to do it for free, like downloading music.

The controllers (I am sure you all know what they look like) will be the best part, developers are all working on tons of ways to use them to their fullest extent, some are working on using two at a time like for drumming and lightsaber fighting.

If anyone wants to discuss stuff just IM me, I am not going to bore the non fanboys...anymore.

I was going to put this in the gamecube:revolution thing but it was like 300 days old so here it is,

They said you can also use your old gamecube controllers with it, so no more crying about the new controllers if you guys didint like them.

Not exactly, there are rumors about that that I have heard, but what I think is more realistic is they will make a new model controller, a basic model for the people stuck in the stone age.

There are peple guessing that the can also be used as a controller, with touch screen for...you get the idea. i am so excited!++

I actually think the new controller is great. I love the fact that it senses motion and everything, and even though it will take some getting used to, I'm pretty sure it will be amazing. I'm buying it no matter what though. I'm probably getting the 360 too, so no, I'm not a fanboy or anything.

A dude at gamestop told me this, I don't think it was just a rumor.

Speaking of rumors:
I went forum surfing and there is a rumor going around that it will be only $99 bucks at launch date, I find this hard to believe but it would be great if they did it.

ive heard from people that the controller will be controlled by your actual movement. like moving your arm right will move the character's arm right or something like that

Well suposably you will be able to use the controller like a sword on zelda or like a gun on fps's. I would use the controller over my old gc controller for stuff like that, just would be something different. I just hope it turns out better than ps2's eyetoy.

it would be very diff than duck hunt, duck hunt isa 2d game, only X and Y axis, but therevo controller will have X, Y, Z. and people are very stupid. there is an add on to the controller which is a analog stick u can hold with ur left/right hand, so if u dont wanna move the controller, just use that.

the revolution is the coolest name they could ever give it, unlike ps3 and xbox 360 pathetic names indeed, if they change it they're idiots

i was kinda on the fence between nintendo revo and ps3, but if any of these rumors are true i will probably be convinced to go with the revo. i love the nintendo franchise games like zelda and all the mario games, but ps2 was so much better supported with games than gc was. i really hope they actually get a good number of games for revo

They said "under 200" so it will DEFFINITLY be the cheapest system

To those *****ing about the arms flailing: you can move your wrist and get the same range as you would if you swing your arms everywhere, this is great, but I hope my wrist doesn't get too strong, tight tendents aren't good for bass players.

To those who want 360: waste of money, buy a pc
To those who want to support sony: Can you say rootkits? not on the ps3 obviously, read about it, google for sony rootkits.

Also i heard Mario 128 for it would be a good game, and all the info on the revolution would be realeased in E3, and i don't tihnk every game is going to require moving your hand.
