Please Frater or Loits can u help... i need to know what gear... stkills and stats to build a ***ly summoner to do Ubers or just about anything else in D2

A summon necro cant do it alone period, even if you have all of those summons its just not possible you might be able to hurt them a little bit but your revives dont last that long and then your skeletons start dying once your summons are gone your pretty much helpless and by the time you get more summons they will of fully healed already. Make a smiter instead.

ummm i've heard of many summoners being able to solo the ubers. i don't know what your on about.

with enigma, life tap, corpse explosion, and the ability for skeles to do insane damage they've got more than the tools needed to solo ubers. the trick is that nigma is a MUST.

but yes summoner necros can solo trist.

I guess you can but it would take much more effort and time than simply using a smiter walk in and out of the portals in about two minutes each and the same with trist, it would take more than two minutes alone just to get all your skeletons.. i guess some people prefer to do things the hard way.. oh well fools will be fools ^^.

but considering that second link is only 3 minutes long it's pretty impressive. Plus you can get your minions by just going into pindle's portal and summoning before they wake up (i think you can still do that anyways).

pally's will always have an easier time though. i just wanted to show that it could be done

funny thing is i dont think your smiter would survive if that necro tele's on you... so now which of the 2 is actually Better? ... Oh and i have a smiter he works just fine, buti want a summoner and a barb who can solo it also...

imo smiters cant handle alot of enemies all at once.. like if they completely surround you, your pretty much screwed.

You could use those, but he uses Urdar's from the river of flame becuase they have chance for crushing blow. A smart and well thought out method, he uses the super slow-downs on the bosses (decrep+clay+cold) ..

Need to have a lot of gold to get through it however, he had to ressurect his merc a number of times..

All my smiter needs to do is use a life tap wand and its over for you. While you whittle my smiter down with your bone attacks thats if your a bone/summon hybrid its mainly for pvp necs but pvm necs dont use the hybrid method there pure summon. Then all the smiter needs to do is charge or smite one of your summons and his life bounces back up again and once he manages to get a lock on you its all over. And yes good barbs can solo portals i've seen my friend do it before but it cant be done as quickly as a smiter.

I can give you a good build for a summon nec my friend uses the same stuff and he does just fine, its a pvm only nec you can pvp with it but you'll only be able to kill pubs.

Spirit or Homunculus go for Homunculus if you want max block but its not really needed your summons will tank for the most part.
Maras or 3 summon nec skill amulet /w 100 life
Shako is cheap and works just fine
Spider
Dual Bk rings

Cta/Spirit switch

Charms:

9x summon gcs
torch/anni
5 res scs

Merc:
Pride
Eth Andy Visage
Eth Shaftstop Up'ed

This is a very cheap build that i didn't bother going into great detail in its effective cheap and works just fine.

ok well once again im bored with my smiter... so i might as well make a barb who can do so anda summoner.. yea they take more time.. well i have plenty of that so im not worried about it.. Most ppl want to Dominate the Game with every char possible.. if not as many as possible. Im not the kind of guy who wants to make a cookie cutter char and then just spam hammers, guided arrows or w/e senario diff chars use..

Also.... Does anyone have a Guide for this type of build with Stats, Gear and skill points used... because spamming the "imo" about this kind of char is for small talk not character development.. Thanx....

Eh, Zarko, i'd go with Ber Ber CoA instead to help with reists, you'll have 40-something DR with Enigma. Mara's should be fine but if you can find a 2skills/FHR/resists ammy then that would be a better choice. Also trade treks for marrows for the +2 mastery, and maybe ebug fort instead of shaftstop on merc. use resist charms only to get resists to max, then use FHR charms to nail the next BP

I just said its a cheap build its cheap to buy and effective i didn't want to put a full blown out guide with rich and poor mans gear and poor mans gear works very well for a summoner your summons tank the damage anyway. What you see is a poor mans gear setup ^.^ and your right about the marrows for some reason i like treks better but marrowwalks works like a charm as well.

ok so what skills are maxed and what stats are maxed?? the gear seems simple enough just get +skill gear and 2 runewords to create auras. i have a 5os twin axe for a necro beast.. and pride wont be an issue making.

Also to answer the poison question... there are alot of poison immunes in hell and the reduction of dmg/ res they have to is is sorta pointless to make. even at a 35k-40k psn explosion,,

so how many points should be put in dex if your using homunculucs?
