Bramble Question - Blizzard Sector

For my next build I was going to give the poision necro a try, but I don't want to give up the teleport enigma gives you.

But on the otherhand Bramble's -% psn skill damage is just godly.

If I put bramble on my merc would the negative resist still apply?

Also side question.. anyone know how -% resist works in conjunction with Lower Resist while breaking an immunity?

*edit* Crap nevermind, bramble gives +% poision damage and doesn't reduce resist.. so i guess not.
