Game with best OST? - Blizzard Sector

I didnt really know where to post this, normal small talk, music or general gaming, so i guess if a mod thinks this ought to be somewhere else go ahead and move (its not like you need my permission anyway heh)

Just wondering you guys' opinions on which video game (any platform) had the best OST (which stands for original soundtrack I believe)

I, personally would have to chose between FFVI (3 for american SNES players) and Chrono Trigger. Those two games had some of the best freaking music ever (from an ambience level)!

this is what the overworld song from FFVI sounds like (its way better orchestrated)
YouTube - Final Fantasy VI (6) - Terra (or something like that piano)

and this is what the overworld song from Chrono Trigger sounds like (when you go back to 600 AD)

The music in FFXI is just awsome! It changes with every area you enter,and the battle sounds are awsome.

FF6 all the way! to hear it properly, you need winamp+an spc input plugin and to download the spc soundtrack from zophar.net

If you liked terra from FF6, you gotta download Terra in black OC ReMix by Ailsean, its a electric guitar version and its ****ing good!!

Halo one and two have always had cool music, although I can't say it's the best, just the best i can think of.

I forgot some of the music on Naruto...it is pretty good and saddly,some on WoW.

God of War OST is friggin awesome. The battle choir owns so hard. It just goes with the game so well.

Best Non-OST game would be Tony Hawk's Pro Skater (The original). They had the best skate music in that game... All punk rock!

I say FFIX. Black Mage Village is awesome. It's all just amazing I think. FFVIII is good too, Eyes on me is probly one of my favorite songs of all time, but I think as a whole, FFIX ftw.
