This is a guitar thread. I don't see why you guys are talking shit to each other about your gear, or your setup or lack of knowlege, or crappy tone. That all comes with time and practice. But anyway. I thought maybe I'd jump in here. I'm running an Ibanez RGT6EXFX out of a Peavey 450W Solo Series Renown solid state amp. I use a DS-1 Distortion pedal too. I don't care whether my tone is good or not. I play what I like, and I sit in my room messing with my amp for hours on end until I get it to sound the way I like.
