I just want to let everyone know that after 3 months of updating the server, D2Relived is finally back up and running. Currently, their site has just done reformatting and they are getting stuff done with it. So enjoy!

hey guys i downloaded all that stuff and put the patch in my d2 folder. then ran the gateway thing and connected to it. well i came to a halt. well... i dont know what to do after that. i have a cracked-cd-key and so i cant join battle.net i was wondering a few things. do you have to have a real CD-Key that works and am i missing something on how to log in... here is what i did. 1. downloaded all the things "NEEDED" thats not counting map hack. 2. copy / paste (aka. drag and dropped) the patch into my D2 folder. 3. opened up the realm thingy .exe and went to diablo 2. under west (im west duh..) then clicked connect. it said it was connected. i then opened up diablo 2 like i was going to play it. and what do ya know. i click on battle.net and it says i cant play due to modem or what ever (aka. saying my account does not work) (because its a cracked CD-Key) does anyone got some input on what im doing wrong? much appreciated thanks

The the Gateway editor, Go under Diablo 2 and click on Add Gateway on the right side

Fill out the info:

Name: D2Relived
Zone: -8
IP: d2relived.no-ip.org

Then when you open up d2, change the gateway to D2relived and click connect.

For the modem issue on West, your probably IP banned on playing on USWest. It could take up to 5 minutes-48 Hours b4 you can login on USWest again.

This was probably the step you forgot, probably because you didn't read it or your exicted, don't worry, I do those things too but you gotta slow down adn read all the directions first :P

then click connect "in the gateway program" ??

and btw will a cracked CD-Key let you in the D2R realm?

If you read a couple of psots above, you woulda found the answer. That is why everybody is gotta start to "READ" everything first before posting because it wastes our time if something is already answered.

Anyways, i'll give it again so you "DON't" gotta waste your time to read everything first.

Acaully, open up D2, click on the gateway button in the menu and change it to D2Relived. That is why you gotta read everything first in the main menu and you woulda found it.

For the cracked CD-Key, it will probably work but if it doesnt, it doesnt and I cant provide you a working cd-key then.

Once u add a NEw Gatway it will be your #1 choise. sO if you add it right it will show it once u open Diablo

Get The DNS site or IP Time Zone and name it what ever u wont to like Smelly PuTTY.
If you named it Smelly Putty and used gateway editor to add it it will say once u open Diablo

This is after u add the mpq File and have not updated!!!!!!


If you were 1.11 and wonted to join a 1.09 you fu.cked. even with a version switcher u have to be 1.07 add version switch download all the patch files. 1.08 = 1/09 = 1.10 1.11 and make each its own file as it will tell you in the version switch.


So if you were 1.11 uninstall it because your runing the wrong version

or just uninstall update to 1.09 and if thats the only sever you wont to run your Fine.

Anyone can do it. if you run a proxy ip + install pvpgn and then install d2gs , then u have your own realm wow look i can connect to your ip (DNS= DOMAIN NAMED SEVER its like a IP with a name wow im smart)

Battel.net is the only sever that checks your cd-key!!!!!<--Hint!

Hey guys im really interested in joining D2R but ive ran into a error, i believe it is with my Loader. so if anyone can help me out please. by the way im not that computer literate so use simple directions lol.

ok so i have 2x versions of D2 LOD patch 1.11 set up with D2Loader v1.11b.

on my second D2 i wanted to try out D2R so i DLed all the Files, replaced them all inside my second D2's folder then i added the .09 Patch to play on D2R's realm.

then i open my D2 and it auto updates a patch.. i let it DL, install and it trysd to restart the D2 window.

when i go to restart up the D2 window after update and patches i get an Error pop up titled "Hey guys" and then in the pop up box says " We got a big Problem here" and it wont open the D2 window.

ive tried updating and plugging in patches about 5 differnt ways each with the same outcome. so if u know y please help me out thanks

My prob was i never switch my GATEWAY address to d2relived and made it my chosen destination... so if anyone had same problems use the Gateway. :P

Well heres your problem, after updating the patch, you gotta replace the loader again, with 1.11B version. That was the step you missed becaise the 1.09 loader doesnt work with the 1.11 patch.

The best thing to do is make 2 diffferent folders, one with patch 1.09 files in them and another one with patch 1.11B files in them. So then you can copy and paste the files in the d2 folder depending on what patch you want to play.

So dont make 2 diablo 2 folders, just copy all files corresponding with the patch files mostly all the dll. files, game.exe, and patch_d2.mpq adn make 2 seperate folders for the 2 patches.

yall know that this server shit is illegal right? just lettin u know. read terms of agreement for d2 and online play

We are still up and running guys, I dont understand why our post was unstickied...

We had forum problems in January but we have replaced them and they are running fine now.

Weekly PvP Tournaments are going on with great prizes and a new PvP ladder system is coming very soon!

Its a great time to come start up on the realm or come back from an absense.
