k, i saved the file and now where do i extract it to and how do i get pugy.exe or w/e into the d2 directory, can ya just say exactly everything ya did from start to finish plz?

k, i saved it, extracted it, then i run plugy, and it says HALT, and some other crap, when i load a char, i read the replies, some other guy had the same error, plz help dude

everything that came in the download,goes into ur d2 file, i had problems and i just put everything in there

Plugy won't load, i'd extract it to d2 folder, put install and uninstall into d2 folder where d2gfx.dll is, installed it and ran plugy but didn't open.

Do i haft to make a backup copy of d2gfx.dll?

Hey uhh is there something ur suppose to dl b4 getting this because i do not have the .ini and .exe files and i extracted all files from the download to my d2folder....could any one help me?

You need all the same files that you use to run diablo 2. Then just copy plugy into your d2 folder.

Just a refresher in case you need to see it:


You shouldn't really need to move PlugY.ini and PlugY.exe to another folder, unless you wish to use it for another mod. Technically it isn't really a Ladder Uber's Mod; it's just a tool that you can use for general enhanced D2 play. Like it said in the first post, some nifty features includes basically unlimited stash space, the ability to edit your stats/skills (as well as extra pages on the stats screen to view some info like mf and stuff like that), and yes the ability to do Uber Diablo and, new to the 7.01b version, Uber Trav.

If you can't find the PlugY.ini file (because Windows automatically makes it a hidden file) and want to find it to move it somewhere else, just open your Diablo 2 Directory, and go to "Tools" and "Folder Options" at the top. Once that opens up click on the "Views" tab and scroll down until you see that folder that says "Hidden files and folders" and click on the option to "Show hidden files and folders". I think you also want to uncheck the box below that says "Hide extensions for known file types" (not as sure about that last part). Now click ok and you should be able to see the PlugY.ini file. nope didnt work

I got it running now, but now whenever i try to join a game it freezes and i haft to exit out. What i did is move all of the files that came with the file to the d2 folder.

Any thoughts?

Hopefully when you say join a game you mean on Open B.net or whatever? I thought it was just single player an d tc/ip not even any of the B.net's; sorry I am not so sure. Is there any error message that comes with the game freezing?

Seems like i had the exact same prob as dani3l had and i'd tried reading through here but didn't work.

Except i tried his solution but didn't work. I have every file that came w/ the mode and put it onto my d2 folder. But when i can actually go in2 the mode the thing has to be "uninstalled" when i install it it comes up w/ a diff message.

k i got it working now, just, if ya cube the 3 keys, do u get uber izzy, uber duriel or lillith? then get the 3 organs and do uber trist? i sure hope so

Is it on open or single? Cause i tried it on single player, And it worked perfectly. I cant see what you guys are doing wrong..
