Okay. I'm sure this has been brought up somewhere. But I need a straight answer. I need a build for a Hammer Merc. This is what I know: Eth Fort; Eth Insight CA. The Helm is constantly a toss up. People say Andy's Pwns. Others say Eth Gaze. is that just a price thing? gaze is cheaper so go for that? If Andy's is the better choice i want that please. Also if my armor and wep is off please let me know.

You don't really need Insight, since Iron Maiden owns the merc anyway. On my Hammerdin, I had Lawbringer, Dream helm, Pheonix shiled and some random armor on an act3 merc. The aura is really nice, keeps all those undead at bay, so you can comfortably solo CS and do Baals.

well how's the dammage on them? i know IM pwns mercs. I have alot of gold. XD. If act 3 really is the best. What do i go? Cold? and what armor? eth fort?

Cold is fine. Also, eth Fort is fine. But if he dies a lot, use Shaftstop maybe.
