I'am a lightning sorc and i'm using an act 2 merc (holy freeze) and i want him to be a tank and im wondering wich EQ i sould use at him to survive.

i used an insigh weapon, shaftstop armor, and nightwing's veil for a helm.

ok but i cant afford the nightwings wiel but i've heard vamp gaze is good ?

andy visage with ral rune in it for helm, and infinity is the best weap :)

ehh use a gaze (ber if you got), if you put one into warmth and wear mages (i use personaly) i can tele without even losing mana and i have no points into mana and therefor do not need insight...but do what u will, infinity (insight i guess), and eth fort with highest defense u can get--i made mine (payed hr jsut for the eth 4os armor lol) and he can tank anything i need him to...the fort and ber'd gaze keep him alive and and the ifinity u are goin to need cuz u wont be able to kill shit lol....w/e insight is not needed at all for me but thats cuz im gg :)

There are many diff. combos you can use. Helms: Andy's, Gaze, Crown of Thieves. Armors: Fort, Stone, Shaft. and for your weapon I think it would be better to use an Infinity for the conv. aura. your mana should be alright and the neg. resists on enemies will help you out a lot more then medi.

the best equip build for merc i believe is

helm- andy's
armor- ebug coh, ebug fort.
weapon-infinity....duh. best is eth infinity for more gg dmg

I use for my java zon eth infinity ca perfect defence/resist fort and a 29 dr 30 res coa he dont have any life leech but he manages to stay alive just fine in baal runs while tanking plenty of hits from minions i dont even need to give him health potions.
