I suggest going back to the old way of how the SOTW were run. not saying Dan or Silver are doing a bad job or anything but i feel it would be more of a competition and alot more fun if instead of not only just choosing a theme, having the Mod also choose a render for everyone to work on, for example:

SOTW # 37

Theme: Hard Grunge

Maximum Size: 400x130 pixels

Text: Optional

Animation: Optional

Render:

You may NOT use signatures entered in previous SOTW's
Good luck everyone.

All entries must be submitted by this time next week.

Then after that everyone votes on who they think had the best outcome.

Anybody else agree?

Also, instead of everyone replying to the sotw voting thread, instead of everyone just posting that their vote goes to 10man, the voting should be put back into poll formation. you can still post who you voted for and why ect..

Just a thought.

Very nicely thought out Mitch.I like the idea a lot,so what do all the rest of you people think?

good idea nex...i aggree w/ pam BUT i think it should be what eveer theme people would like instead of restricting it to just vector or just hard grunge. ya know what mean?

Yeah good idea, that would help for new comers to photo shop, in case they don't know how to do certain themes ect..
So then hopefully we can get more than just the usual people in the competitions.

Also another idea could be have a sig of the month, where you could win something fancy.
Also what ever happened to +Rep to the winners?

I guess I can give a shot at doing this. Even though I never really liked giving a set render. I will give it a shot.
