yeah sometimes i get reallly laggy when viewing but i guess thers nothing to do but close any other programs that may cause lag

also try ctl-alt-delete and see your CPU usage, make sure thats low, my comp sucks *** when thats high.

It loads pretty fast for me. Are you using a dail-up connection? And like all the people said try closing some programs because it might not be the sites lag, but your computers lag.

It's probably your internet since I do not lag on this site. You also mentioned that you started lagging after all these people started coming to d2sector, so its probably not your comp.

I don't lag while viewing this site, and I got a 300mhz processor from 1994.

its not dial up...... i run 2 or even sometimes 3 comps on a singal dial up and i have no problums with the site. when was the last time u use'd disk clean up and defraged you comp..... poor mantaince means poor performance

2-3 comps on one dial up line? Well, I suppose it depends on what you are loading... Mine lags with a single comp on 56k, and it IS NOT my comp. I just try to ram too much through 56k, so I guess that's my fault. Well, for me the worste part about this site is loading the sigs, because I have 56k. If you are on dial up, try to have ONLY one browser window open with only this site, and see if it will load. If not, defrag, scandisk, virus check, spyware check...yea..all that good stuff. Then try again. Hope that helps~

CPU Usage is fake, its a little trick microsoft does, i dont believe it. its known to tell lies.

CPU usage monitor can lie, but usually only because the processor usage is so high that it lags the update speed of the monitor, which causes the % usage to be off. It does work, if not, uhhh...check your DLL's??

Would people like a 56k Friendly skin? One with a few less images and signatures disabled?
