Is it me or are they a nuisance (SP?). I mean, not so much that they make me want to kill, just makes me think, "Hey, that's cool." Is Spit running out of money to pay for hosting or something so he's getting money through that? I would certainly hope he's not, I would hate to see this community turn into EoN.

Hes not running out of money, but it does make the site generate more money.

Costs at the moment:
Server: $130 a/mnth
Forum Skins: $30ea a/yr
Vbulletin - Owned Licence $160 1ce off then $30/yr
Domains - $9.95 x 6 i think a/yr
Misc things - $30 a/mnth

My vbulletin licence is about to expire so I need to spend $160 on that. When the forums are upgraded i need to buy the new skins since my account at extremepixels has expired (yes i know you can get illegal copies easily but I keep d2s legit) and the server Is $130 a month. As you can see the Monthly / yearly things all add up

Current ads cover it with a tiny bit of profit, but as anyone can understand why not try to make a better profit when the opportunity is there

Plus 50% of any extra money from the new ads i'm hoping will go towards buying things for competitions here on d2s.

The new ads are the only way i could think of incorporating more without them being to annoying. Your lucky i dont put big flashy things and popups everywhere

Anyhow, if no advertisers contact me about the ads there within a couple of weeks they'll be removed.

Well I certainly hope they contact you for some extra revenue for the site.

Wow, you have to pay quite a lot for this site. Well, I won't mind having a few extra ad around this site. This site is pretty Ad free.

Its Doesnt Really Bother me i just noticed that when u scroll fourms theres an ad.

but its low profile ad's and i dont think that many people notice....

The Ad's that really really bother me are the ads. I don't mind if its one pop up but like multiple ones. THey make is so lame that once you exit one another 2 opens...
