Just an idea with the points system. Maybe you should offer items for points like soj or even runewords.

the pts are useless. people have over a million. they could buy whatever they wanted, and where would we get the items to sell?

I think it is a good thing to add sumtin to the ushop but i dont know what..........i mean we need something to use our point on and we can only change or titles so many times.....i am not saying we have diablo items up because that would be crazy and who would supply it all....but we need to find sumtin :)

I get 10k+ interest a day I know some people get like 30k+ or something crazy like that. The point system does need a total a reset and revamping but its alot of work and I dont think Spit or kitty kat has the time to screw with it. All well...I'll just amass points like a whore.

i killed the points system long time ago for buyen game items with points cause i could get anything i wanted and i could get alot more now lol

In order for this to work you would need a lot of donaters, as well as a reset to the point system. Which Im all over but some of the other members as we have seen in the past, love their points more than their life :/

Ushop 1.0.0 should be out soon hopefully. There is also a "Stock Market" system I'm following. Hopefully these will be released soon so we have something more to do with our points. The reset might not be such a bad idea. It would make points worth something again. I'll post a poll to see how everyone feels about it.

Well this is a great idea, except idoits would abuse the system and create 10 forum names and post under each thread 10 times, and they have an soj.

For this system to work, make sojs sell for points, points that werent donated by any other forum member. Sojs would have to cost like 50 million and the point system henceforth would have to be reset. Also points should be non-tradeable for it to work.

Points reset probably WILL happen. When I update the forums to v3.5 the only way to do it is on a fresh copy of vbulletin and just import the vbulletin data, effectively stripping out points and any other hack/addon data.

Since theres a large difference from 3.0.x to 3.5.x I cant just do a simple upgrade
