Drawings aren't a bad idea either, actually.. haha that gave me an idea.

We can start a lottery of some sort on here. Make a new thread or something each week, and then people can sign up for a certain amount of points, or whatever.. say 15, then somehow a winner is drawn randomly and they get all the points for that week.

As for the clan, in order for it to be official.. like I said, an admin or mod would have to approve it first. I have no issues with participating -- I have past experience with clans as member, co-leader, and leader. (I ran an old bnet [sc/d2/wc3] clan for 2 and a half years straight before.)

I play USeast. (shrugs) It's up to the people "in charge" though and whoever wants to oversee it. Spit/Nubli/Whoever else would have to appoint leaders or .. whatever. Or, have them nominated/voted on. There's plenty of possibilities.

i havent really noticed this site dying although i admit i often find myself answering most of the same questions about things related to characters or bots that can easily be found out, so i propose that people deliberatly dont answer users when they make threads about like "how much dex does a char need at lvl x" or "how do u upgrade items", instead just give people minimal help like telling them to go to diabloii.calcon.net and look for things about the horadric cube, rather then giving them the exact link or formulas, teaching people to become resourceful and answer their questions by themselves proves just how useful a person can be. this is with all due intent that any question ignored is something simple, and difficult questions will be given help. i would like to see a chatroom for d2sector.net installed and people would only be allowed to use their usernames here so they cant try to disguise themselves, what else can i think of? ..... well.... i noticed someone mentioned that i should be a mod but i really dont see a point to that right now anyway, i'm quite busy taking math 12 right now so i'd rarely have time to mod... *thinks hard* nope nothing else i can think of right now.... oh yeah... how about not giving rep to people just because they give it back, Allisurd did a wonderful and clever idea making a reputation system and it would be an insult to abuse them. thats all.

I dont know what i would do if this site died. It provides me with everything, hacks, nice poeple, and a good fourm. Also, when I download a file from you guys, i have a assurnce that it is safe aand virus-free. I don't trust to many sites with downloads.

Maybe we could add post limits to forums, Like say you need 10 points to get in the General diablo forum, No points for small talk, This way people would catch up quicker, they would get a feel of what the place is like and Act according to rules, Just an idea that popped up.

It is not our fault that the game and sites are dying, its blizzards. The game, along with sites will pickup again once ladder restarts (if it would hurry up!!!). The game would explode if a new patch came out again with new items!!

In otherwords we just need something new to talk about. People arent talking about halo anymore its all about halo2 because its different and better. Blizzard needs to kick it up a notch (BAAM =P ) and keep their popular games "popular".

like jester said, a new patch with items would be nice, but maybe after that, they could make a diablo3 and people would flood over to da store and buy the game and play their butts off. and if u D2sector guys could make sum more forums for diff topics, for example guides and strats for people to follow (plz correct me if there is already one) also, maybe u should hold diablo2 dueling tourneys for diff lvl class and offer sum items for prizes or sum points on dis site. that would boost the site's morale.

Have some contest of any sort..like who can make the best maphack for those c++ people of like best signature and win like points and stuff like that just mix this forum up a bit. The Clan idea sounds great, exactly what I need. I quit diablo recently cause what amuses me with diablo is having a true team, a perfect party with people doing there part and making the party versatile. If this comes real im definitely in. I'm playing on europe by the way.

I still say we sould make a clan and start it up maybe this weekend and if we cant start this weekend maybe next week......another idea i had is that we make a christmas drawing for like items and rep points or maybe like 1000 pnts so if u all have a way to make my ideas better tell me cause christman is coming and the drawing thing would be cool i think.

ya acually i like his idea alot about the drwawings. maybe u can make diablo holydays based on normal holidays in our world and make a drawing about that and giv away points, items, and that stuff. o ya ive been wondering how come my screen dosent say how manay points anyone has and their rep?
