help please, having problems with all steam games. - Blizzard Sector

recently, not one game on my computer works, except for d2. whether its Bioshock, Far cry, Prince Of Persia basically any newish game. so yesterday i thought, hmm maybe ill play some counterstrike source. everything seemed fine up until i tried to enter a server i would just freeze. that would happen with with every server and ive restarted ive got the latest video drivers, latests update of counterstrike. so i thought to myself sig... ok ill play half life 2 death match, same problem again. as well with half life 2 and half life lost coast and also episode 1. basically im completely unsure with my computer. im thinking reformatting or would there be a simpler/quicker solution?

Is it the game itself of just when you try to engage in online play? Have you recently installed a router on your internet connection?

i think its both the game and the internet. and yes i have just recently installed a router. i moved recently and signed up with iinet. which came with a belkin router.

you may need to set it up, or allow certin things to access the interweb through the router.

Try this Disconnect the router run right to the PC then try...WooT lets see if that was the problem

Btw Dont edit SC file, the TOS says u can mod chr files, just cant make the all Blue and all Red bc i got banned w00T
