Default Need Some Help With Loader - 07-05-2007, 10:55 PM

I'm totally stumped on what to do next. I've looked at a few guides and still can't figure out what I am doing wrong, so help is appreciated.

I moved d2xmusic.mpq and d2xvideo.mpq to the diablo II folder. I renamed Diablo II "diablo 2 original exe." I moved the Loader into the Diablo II folder and renamed it "Diablo II"

When I click on the loader to start the game I get this error...

Halt
Location : ,line #598
Expression : Unrecoverable internal error 6fa88003

Now none of the guides talk about this error, so I have no idea what to do next. I'd love some help, thanks!

EDIT: forgot to add this, when I click ok on the error, I get another error that says "Hey Guys, We got a big error here "

Hmm...

Make sure you have patch 1.11b for D2 LoD installed. If you don't, download it here: http://ftp.blizzard.com/pub/diablo2e...Patch_111b.exe

Also for this part

I think you did this right. It's probably because of the patch. If you still need help, look here: http://www.blizzsector.net/hacks-dup...der-guide.html

I like to thank Frogman for making my awesome sig!

I do have the patch installed, I play ladder so I'm sure about that.

Thanks for your help, does anyone have other ideas I could try?

Hmm.. well also make sure your running the d2loader. "if" you made a shortcut of the original d2 exe, make a shortcut of the "d2loader" icon which you labeled "Diablo II"

Tried that and got the same error message.

Gah, I wish this wasn't so confusing.

Thanks again, you were a huge help.
