sting's hackmap worked flawlessly across all windows platforms. has anyone heard if he's planning on coming out w/ a hackmap for 1.12? where are you, sting??? we need you!

In case you didn't read the previous pages, it still works. Although today I have had my first couple crashes after I updated my pc with new vista updates. But no bans that I've heard of yet. <---Key word.

I switched from gmap to this one a few weeks ago and it's worked perfectly for me. Main reason I switched was so I wouldn't have to alt-tab out of D2 to reveal map.

I don't believe that Blizzard will ban ppl for using mh or such. Aslong its not abusive.. they are more concern about D3 now so they probably just want ppl to keep plying d2.

But who knows....

BTW: The file seems to be safe (no virus found or key logger found) :-)

Works fine for me as a simple outline of the map. If this is based on "Stings" code then it semes that it would show more like trist, duriel, meph, and such but maybe that will come later.

pff i know it works i downloaded it and all but i cant use becoause it saiz this "paint cannot open this file" it opens in paint why is this? pm

Just downloaded 0.4 version and works great on vista once I ran in administrator mode. I love da new mouse lock key for playin in window - much better all around. Load time's less too, just wish I could view unique monsters on map.

P.S. PM me if you know of a monster viewer that shows health and does not require a loader.

Just an FYI, I experienced Crashes with this maphack until I discovered a trick to it. Hit tab to have your map view TURNED OFF, hit the END key to show the map, THEN hit tab again to turn the map back on.

I previously experienced crashes 1 out of every 3 times when I had the map on (unless I sat still and waited for 10 seconds before using it after using a waypoint - odd), I've now used it over 100 times with no crash as long as I have the map turned off before hitting the End key. I can use it instantly after a waypoint, while running etc etc. Hope this helps. Cheers!

well regardless if its detectable or not since no1 can ever be 100% sure nemore, i gota admit i feel safest using this knowing that its a spinoff of stings and that when i clicked the link it brought me to d2sector, which is a site ive known for a lonnnng time now.

According to ************* (the most respectable forums through its reputation for d2 cheetz), NO HACK is currently 100% safe due to the fact that at ANY time warden can switch up and screw us all.
^keep that inmind, but also keep in mind you can buyd2 CDkeys offline for 10 bucks now.

were people banned for using stings in the huge banwave?
or was it only people who used stings + other programs and people who used d2loader and whatnot

Ok if your using vista then try bringing up task manager now go and find media center stuff close all that like Media Center Tray app I belive is one. Now start up d2 and give it a try. Works fine for me now hope this helps alot of you out there don't know if someone else already posted something bout this but thought I would anyway just incase.

I used this MH with d2loader a few days ago and i was banned the next day.
Luckily i tested it on muted key and a random acc that i do not use.

Is it the MH thats detectible or d2loader?

other than the ban its ok. :)

Another ban! thanks for the mh but its detectible ....

make sure that you completely remove d2 loader.
that includes removing any registry entries that it may have left behind.
use ccleaner to do that.
