Any one confirm / deny that it's "Safe" to use on bnet? It won't get auto detected and cd key banned etc?

How long have you guys been using it on Bnet?

can anyone tell me if you need d2loader for these maphacks, or if any of them run on win 9x platforms as sting's did?

As far as I've heard, on quite a few forums this maphack is the closest to "Safe" as you can get with any hack on b.net, however EPLite and such by Netter/Jan Miller (who I learned to distrust completely back in 1.07-1.09) has reported bans across the boards like a common cold..

*edit: There is nothing else needed besides the contents of the download in order to use this hack. Run program after you join a game, and while in command prompt hit "END" on keyboard. Should load right up for ya.

I run Vista Home Prem. (not by choice- came on laptop) and am not up to lvl yet on my mf sorc (ladder) to need to use this hack just yet- in a couple days I will let you know how it goes. Kudos to SpitFire and his creditors for such a security based program - looks good!

works fine with d2 loader

a couple of critiques.. have way points show up on the map, and also have those little x's like in stings to make it easier to distinguish where you need to go

I miss mousepads. Showed enemies, labeled shrines, labeled areas (Like which tomb in a2) , etc.

Yes, for many of us who had the full version of mousie's back in the day, it spoiled us greatly. Had unique monster icons, chests, cow kill marker, I also recall a directional arrow pointing towards the important places with Auto-Tele to get ya there fast as you could imagine, and not to mention viewin other people's gear out b4 you duel...ah the good ol days...

On another note; to make an update to my earlier post- I have lvled my ladd mf sorc enough to do runs and such. (On Vista with no loader) I have extracted the .3b version of the lolwut maphack, joined a game i made and then alt+tabbed over to lolwut. Double clicked to load up the proggy, waited about 5 secs until i hit END, and haven't had a single crash or malfunction yet still after a few hours..

MAJOR KUDOS out to the coders/fellow hackers who produced this fine 1.12 Maphack! I fell in love with D2 all over again

Mine was working perfectly fine last night then when i got on this morning it would always say

Revealing map ...Failed

the only thing i can think of that i changed about diablo was that i upgraded the installation from the multiplayer to full install. Would that have anything to do with it?

are you running Windows XP or Vista? I run Vista Home Premium and I still haven't had that problem, however I do have only the Multiplayer installation - I dont like the restriction of the full installation.

If you're in Vista, I suggest to run as Administrator and exit out every other game if you're having a bit of trouble, but heh I'm no coder and wouldn't know if the installation makes a difference - I'm only sharing my experience

I'm using it to this moment and still no errors, when does it come up? are you leaving the program on during all of your games or shutting it down every once in a while?

This seems to work for me on vista..I haven't a clue what the solution could be unless a new version is updated (which seems to clear many ppl's problems with the program) then I would suggest you look on the *************.cc site for any bugfixes/updates , but thats what ppl have told me so maybe it would help..

Good luck tho guys

Does anyone knows why this hack doesn't works on win 98 se? I know, it's computer prehistory, but i'd like to have a map hack working on it :) so... can you make this hack work on win 98, or, do you know a working one? thanks in advance

As far as I can remember there are no working maphacks for windows 98, I too have a pc running 98 somewhere in my house - and you're damn str8 its computer prehistory old p.o.s. ---- however for a while there were no working maphacks for Vista, but that changed in a fairly timely manner, to get a hack working with a almost ancient version of windows is a much rarer thing i believe.

I'm no programmer or coder so I cant give you fullproof info but if you post a comment on the *************.cc site to emjay -you may possibly find a work a round or fix. Just an idea, hope this helps some.
