Changes:
Some of the changes for Hero Editor V0.96:
- added life/mana/stamina fractions editing
- added Iron Golem to character file (and editing)
- fixed character file to work with a corpse/dead body
- update picture of item immediately, when selecting a Unique name
- added background picture selection for larger stash mods (see INI file)
- fixed some item copy issues (e.g. couldn't copy Merc items properly)

*New* Hero Editor v1.03 for V1.12

I downloaded it, and extracted it into "My documents".. but the only icons are.. Setup.LST, Setup, and Hero editor.. After u install it nothing happens.. and the other 2 icons dont open.. what do i need to do to get it to work right?

After you have downloaded it and installed it, click start, all programs, and there will be one of those things that say hero editor, open it and click hero editor .96.

(forgive me if I make a mistake talking english because I'm Italian) I'm very angry about this editor because it's a shit! I can't use all the Boss moves...why? I can't edit stats or skills over 1023/99 and neither with the HEX. I always try to make an irresistible warrior but all the times the other cheater on the net kill me simply... what the hell I have to do??? Please answer and help me... Finally I wnated to ask someone of you(also if it's illegal) if you know where I can take the CRACK for DiabloII LOD because I haven't the original CD! please help me!

Simply if you don't like this editor don't use it! and just a tip. make a smiter for open.

I suggest stop playing on open, many people have been creating their own chars for many years now, by now they are perfected and you wont beat them.

So pretty much I say go to closed where it is a bit more fair, kind of.

And also, yours and this post are off topic, if you need help make a thread for it in the appropriate forum.

Does the new hero editor works with the new stash that you get if you istall plugy the survival guide?I mean the stash is bigger so will evertyhing display normal or will be a problem?

You can only fight the ubers if you are playing online on the sc/hc ladder.

There is however an ubers mod but I haven't tried it, I prefer to play online.

At any rate all the ubers information is readily avaliable on the d2sector site as well as extensively discussed in the forums, so plz don't be lazy and do a bit of research.

No.. Plugy does not work with hero editor.. It will delete any items that look out of place in the stash. (like if you have items on page 2 of stash)

lol man dont expect to EVER make an invincible warrior, hacking a good pvp char is EXTREMELY complex. ppl spend weeks developing a single character and stats perfectly. alot of math is involved to get max life possible without rolling (shown life number, once really high, means nothing. actual life is not shown) if u still want to make a good hacked character goto google and search for some methods. i dont remember the website but i found one that gave a very in depth method of showing how they do it, after about 5 hours nonstop workin on the char and i didnt even get past the first page of 10 in the tuturial, i gave up. there will ALWAYS be someone out there that can kill you, your much better off to stick with battlenet

Everytime i try to download i get the message saying "The Compressed(zipped)Folder was invalid or corrupted" how can i fix this?

Whenever I try to edit my character, it corrupts my save file. (something about "bad version") I can only max out my gold without it screwing the save file over. I did NOT run the setup file, I just extracted the .cab and ran the hero editor. I don't trust the setup file becuase it wants to replace my system files. Maybe that's my problem?

lol it just says that you have a newer version of the system file for me so all you have to do is keep the newer version. how do you ecxpect to use a program right w/o installing it?

Hey wasup. I just now figured out my username and password. This thread is old so I may not supposed to be posting here but.. I installed hero editor, it works fine, but, i created a character in game, and tried loading it onto hero editor, but it didn't load. It said the character filesize was too small. Any reason why?

Because the character is level 1.
This happened to me lots of times.. err, make a new character and if that doesnt work go out and grab some items and then try loading it up.
And if that doesnt work post back.
