if you use hexing, you can get mephisto's lightning ball and diablogeddon to work. Diablogeddon is a form of armageddon that never expires NOT EVEN IN TOWN, but the damage is low. Mephisto's lightning orb fires very fast with no mana cost, but it also has a low damage. More for looks. Some skills plain don't work and make you character do a "humping" action. All of the other diablo skills behave this way as does laying maggot eggs. I think that would be a very cool effect so if someone finds that out, pm me. Knowing the game, you would be able to populate any town with 10000000 maggots! lol, that could be very cool!

laying eggs is easy i can do it....i dont know how but it just works for me...oh and im usin the new zonfire99 hero editor

and about the hex editing, is there somewhere i can learn how to do that? I know there is a guide on this site but unless i am mistaken it only worked for v1.09 of the game because when i got the 1.10 final patch the editing did not work.

Although Hero Editor will also work for V1.09D, I actually wrote the Help file for V1.10 patch. So, start Hero Editor (V0.80 or V0.82) and press the F1 key. A help file will pop up. Scroll down to section 9 to read about how to hex.

i have a few questions about using hero editor by zonfire which if anyone could help me with i would be very grateful.
1) Is it possible to change the colour of your item through hexing? If so could you give me a full description of how to do it because I am not farmiliar with hexing at all.
2) Is there any specific way of adding magical attributes to get the highest effectiveness (if thats a word) in things like defense and damage (for weapons). I use open battle.net a lot and talk to a lot of people who have armor in the 700,000's who say they use hero editor, however even with maxed out sockets I can only manage to get my total defense up to about 90,000. If you would be able to help me out with these issues i would be very appreciative.

J-ci, i have the same problem as in your 2nd question and I have yet to figure it out, but i believe it has something to do with getting more sockets in your items and having lots and lost of charms in your inventory. The charms seem to be a huge part of it, note that you should use a small charm and not overload them or the game will encounter errors when you try to load your character. only use like 15 of the magic slots but make wise choices of the magic you use. Hope that helps some.

Hey I got a sort-of big prob..I try to hex to be able to cast Baal's Cold Missiles (as in the help file says), when I finish doing ALL exactly as it says my char gets deleted...Help?

I'm sure there is a way to customize anything you want in the game if you know your hex editing. Although i don't i'm sure there is someone around that does.

To customize the weapons and names, you would need to make a Mod game (i.e. change the D2 game MPQ files).

i have a small question about hero editor... i downloaded it it today and after re-installing diablo and got the new patch..... since i have used diablo before i knew editors had to be made each time a patch came out cuz' blizzard likes to change things 2 much.... anywho i was getting ZonFire99's hero editor no matter what cuz' its the best but when i got it the new version (hero editor) has pictures half the size there supposed to be which really causes problems in the inventory screen beacuse i cant position items properly..............
