zk, id give that like 4/10 :S
its not very appealing, never do a border like that (seriously, i did that once, oh man it wasnt pretty) you gotta work on the brushing some more, get some more brush sets, get some sparkle brushes, use blurring/sharpening if you know how to.
seriously though for the border, unless you really really know what your doing, dont make it a completely different colour than the rest of your sig, it makes it look 10x worse

Nexus, your avatar is pretty spiffy, but in my opinion, the N is too big for the avatar, it just sort of feels out of place to me. Your current signature right now is sweet guy.

thanks shift so do you think i should resize it? also i was thinking of putting some small floral brushes on it like in my sig to make it match a bit more. should i or would that ruin it?
btw thanks for th positive comments, and your sig is sweet, i also really like the text. only thing i would change would be to make the boarder a bit more visible cant really see it at all.

I would, but im pretty sure that I cant post URL's as of yet, and, someone somewhere would call it ripping because every filter tutorial follows pretty much the same guidelines. I am horrible with fusing the text with the background in my opinion, and I dont feel that there are any good tutorial's out there for the text.

I worked some more on the sig (right now im at my buddies house and he dosn't have photoshop so I can't work on it some more), but im adding some animation to my current sig. The underscore is going to fade in and out, at the same time, an electric pulse is travelling around the border. In my head it looks sweet, just have to see what it turns out like.

EDIT Sorry Nexus, in regards to your avatar, I say the resized N is the better of the two.

EDIT #2 I feel the smaller N gives more definition to the face.

Thanks for the link Nexus. I have read that tutorial over before and I found when I gave it a go, I didn't get the results that I had hoped for.
