What do you guys think of my current? Kinda my first serious attempt at C4D.
The stock was already really choppy so it doesn't look like good quality.

Not bad. Nice render and color scheme. The foggy areas sort of take away from it though, even as contrast. Text could be a little easier to read, but pretty good. 6.5/10.

Looking good Zero, i love that render, or is that a stock? Nice text as well. Just the top left hand corner doesn't really flow with the sig.
Nice overall though, 7/10.

It's not bad if your a beginner, for a beginner rate I'd give it a 8/10.

A new one, wasn't really in the artistic mood tonight, and I'm not too keen on it, but ill post it anyway.

Nice work Silver.

The first one i like the grungy effect on the right hand side of the render and i love the colors.
8/10

The second one is REALLY good i love it, text is just a little hard to read.
8.5/10

Heres a new one i made tonight, the text needs a little work but ill do it later.

The text is above average, the manipulation done on the render is poor in my opinion, it distorts the origonal too much. If I'm thinking of the correct tool then it's supposed to be used around the edges not for moving one part of the render. And I think the design is OK.

By scatter effect do you mean X brushes smudges?

Just make a new layer like 90x90 or something, transparent, type an X in there, select it, and go to Edit > Define Brush Set, then name it "X brush" or whatever you want to. Then you have it as a brush.

Ha ha thats great, love the rising sun! Your graphic skills never seize to amaze me Dan.
Sorry forgot to rate it, I'd give it probably around about a 8.5/10 i think a more eye catching background outside the balloon would boost it higher.
Its still an excellent piece of work.
