The first rpg I ever played would have to be either one of the final fantasy games or lufia... I was Wondering what everyone else's first rpg was?

I can't remember from so long ago, but I think it was either ::: super mario (snes) , UN Squadron (snes), and I dont know if these are Rpg's , but Doom series (PC)and Duke Nukem (PSX)

I think the first RPG I have played was....I think it's called something like Sorcerer's Kingdom for Genesis. The genre may have been more like Adventure RPG; not sure.

To my recollection, all of the super mario bros were side-scrolling (although I could be wrong; there could've been some that were more RPG'ish). Also I believe both Doom and Duke Nuken could go under FPS.

your right on Doom and Duke Nukem, but there is a mario game for Snes that I beleive is called Mario rpg you should check it out it's accually kinda fun

Mario RPG was decent, as they collaborated with Square on that project I believe. I happen to be in the same boat as Math...Final Fantasy III

Ive played so many games but I dont remember any on the console.. on the pc I think it was Diablo 2 or Runescape..

Probably Super Mario Rpg, when i was like 10 i rented some early final fantasy game. i hated it but now final fantasy games line my top 5 rpg's of all time list

The second RPG I ever played was Chrono Trigger. Then Final Fantasy VII. Oh how I miss those old days.
