Druid Rabies Build - Blizzard Sector

Hi guys!
Im new to Diablo 2 Exp, and I wanted to create a druid who is a poison base player using rabies. Anyone have a character build for this that will work for the current version?
And also what is the "synergy" i read from a couple of class strategry around the web, it doesnt show in the manual

yeah...that could work...with shapeshiftin druids you usually have a good bit of pts left...max fury...put like..10 or so into rabies.

i dont haev a link personally...but check in the char guides for a good shapeshifting druid build...and then just wing it.

If you really want to build a rabies build just max rabies and its synergy posion creeper

But I think in wolf no attack is more effective than fury
You can do what farva said and invest some points into rabies

it's my opinion only
in werewolf form i think fury can kill faster than rabies
though I have not try a rabies build before

pets? you mean summoning or shapeshift ...
synergy means you will get bonus to a skill if you invest your skill points to other related skills
for examples rabies, it gain 18% posion dmg from posion creeper per skill level

One of my friends has a rabies druid. Its a decent druid for 1v1 but when it comes to many monsters like in Hell for instance he gets raped senselessly. So i would just put points into rabies but max fury for sure (pretty much same thing taht farvarules said). Good movie also Farva.

I'd do a bear just because of the damage. But do you plan on being a PvM or a PvP druid? PvM- do wolves, PvP- do bear.

Max Lycanthropy
Max Werewolf
Max Furry
Max Rabies
Max OAK

items,charms,etc. will provide with -% enemy poison resistance
will this work or will suck in the end?

Well, with the right gear...Bramble, trangs, etc. You should have fun killing plenty of people. Just don't be shocked when a caster kills you.

my build is not currently using any shield, weapon is the horadric staff. should i use a shield, currently havent got any good shield and fast attack weapon besides sa staff

i'd say forget trying to be full rabies...fury is way better than rabies is...just max lyc..max werewolf..max fury..max oak...put some pts on grizzly...and put like 10 or so on rabies...then get a botd zerk..or a beast...an ss...chains of honor...jalals with a 40/15..maras ammy...war travs..verdungos...soul drainers or dracs...and 2 c grips..and you'll be set.
