Ok Ok, Ive been searching for weeks, but I cant seem to find a nice melee druid. I tried my luck with an elemental/melee one, but when I figured out that cyclone armor worked on elemental attacks... I said "screw that" and never played that character again.

So this is what I'm looking for:

MELEE DRUID
-skills to use
-skills to max
-skills to avoid

-items to use
--items must be well balanced like good resists and high defense (im not a rich d2 player so dont give me a guide where every item is elite-unique or full of the best runewords, because i dont have either.)

-stat points distribution

I will use an act 2 hell defensive mercenary.

Plz give me a good guide. I must make another druid! Btw, Aldurs set sux.

Well my druid aint bad basically once u hit a high enuf lvl he is awesome...This is what i do for a werewolf druid.

I max Lycantropy and Werewolf for time and lif
Max either Oak Sage or the Attacking 1 (i user sage 2 make a tank)
Max fury and with left over points i max Feral Rage for Life Leech and run/walk

This is my druid basically set him up with right items and he has an insane amount of health

For stat points i usually go with 150dex 100vit and rest into str

Yeah basically zeon nailed it....as long as you max fury..and max oak sage...and distribute your stat points right...you're all good....what i do with my stats is per lvl i go 3-1-1...str dex vit, respectively...the occasional 2-1-2...and obviously with the right equipment...either way would work..(i.e. enigma or coh, eth botd zerk, jalals, soul drainers/dracs, gore riders, t-gods/verdungos, cgrip...carrion ring or any other dual leech ring...maras ammy or highlords) also you'll most likely have some skill points left over..so...some points on heart of the wolf, and maybe a point or 2 on summon grizzly couldnt hurt.

Oh lol...just read your "not too rich" part of your thread nub....well...incase you cant afford those...for weapon i'd say..basically a good high dmg one handed weapon so you can use an ss....shaftstop would work alright for the dmg reduction...jalals i'm sure you can afford...if you cant get dracs or soul drains...laying of hands work good...for the ias and dmg to demons...boots..i'm sure you can afford gore riders...any ring with dual leech will work, and maras works too for the resistance....i play useast nonladder..if ya need anything..just get a hold of me at NoRemorse..i'm pretty sure i have everything listed, some extra stuff i can hook you up with..later

I made a mellee druid just like that(Before 1.10) and i dueled this werebear druid and he owned me everytime we both were about 80 his weapon was just really fast lol made me mad because i thought wolfs would own the slow *** bears

lol you have to take into consideration that werebears have more life and do more damge..plus higher defense..so...yeah
