In most cases, no.
If you duell fire immune monsters, it can come in handy if you dont have a merc.
Myself i use a 5 socket crystal sword with 5 shael. Works great for me.

Keitaro u lousy son of a *****, not only have you made possibly the crappiest fireclawer ever but u put mine to shame. If your gonna give him a build show him mine, mine has exact amounts for everything and btw ur dmg with mine should be 17k and roughly 4.7-5k life 4 fps. Alfzzz so you know the dmg comes from the skill not the weapon.

99% of your dmg would be fire dmg, so if you use crystal sword or dimentional would almost be the same.

Use that class sword cause its fast and its 1 handed. You dont want a 2 handed weapon.

I can make a better poor mans guide than that you have it all wrong even with your crap gear that u use. If your gonna go with crap gear then at least use a magi rather than a gangel or even aldurs armor, Ammy should still be angelic poor or not cuz angelic isnt exactly top lvl stuff, and at least 1 ring angelic.
Also Aldurs boots puts IK to shame

well um i just put 3 shaels in military pick and i alrdy attack pretty fast so the crystal sword wont matter?

well is the pick very fast attack speed then if it is then its good all u need is 3 more and u can attack faster lol

btw did u guys try that new shield in ladder? +300+%edmg & -28% fire res to enemy??, i think thats nice for fireclawer...
