like i've been doing A LOT of mf'ing @ hell meph with 450% mf and i can't seem to find anything at all, i've done over like 150 runs in one day, not single shako, occy or w/e, i was wondeirng if anybody could tell me that whether i need more or less mf (because i tried mfing with less and i got better stuff) and what hell meph can and can't drop, thanks!!!

meph is unaffected by mf.......
in like...1.10 they made it so end bosses are unaffected by mf.....so yeah.
i swear i read that today...i am sorry if i gave out false information...i am quite trashed right now, roommate came over with a handle of vodka...but i swear i read that in multiple places today. However i can't find them right now so you might be right. Sorry about this again.
Meph is my main man. I have ALWAYS counted on him to drop Shakos, Occy, Hoz, Arachnid. I have a total this season alone of probably 5 Shakos, 3 Occy, 3 Hoz, and an Arachnid. Just keep doing him like how you are mfing right now, and you will get drops from him. Meph, Pindle, Eldritch, Shenk.
I'll second the recommendation for ~300% MF.
For some obscure (and unconfirmed) reason, having a MF above ~300% is bad and makes you find less than expected.
I've read a pseudo technical explanation about it over a year ago, but as usual when you want to post links you can't find them again... I'm sorry =/

Ciao ciao : )
The items I have listed was found with more than 300% mf by alot.
The more MF = the better, unless you are sacrificing too much killing power.
I used to do Meph with ~600% MF and got a sweet amount of drops from him.
People saying that you get less with more MF is bullshit, Magic Find % is simply subject to diminishing returns. For example, at 400%+ you will need a lot more +% to get a better MF% chance. This sounds complicated, so I'll try to explain it again.
Using random numbers, the odds are something like, at 600% MF you have
600% better chance of finding a blue item.
500% better chance of finding a rare item.
400% better chance of finding a set item.
300% better chance of finding a unique item.
So simply put, you will always need more MF% to find those unique items.
