up right to down left is going Diagonal

the way i think of it is, in the hall or room you start out in, pretend you are in there yourself and looking towards the only direction that you can get out. now, simply follow the wall that is to the left of you

so always go to the left of which ever way the room or hall points to.
the red arrow being the direction that the room points, green arrow being the left of the red arrow

i was just wondering that myself...cats 2(which is the one from the wp, not 3) seems to be always counterclockwise from the wp. havent found anythin for cats 3 yet

countess is not that complicated...pretty much all you have to remember is that you usually want to turn left (from the way your char is facing) asap
