Hey I'm trying to install Diablo 2 with this no cd and I keep getting this error:
Setup cannot read a required data file. Your diablo II SC may not be in the CDROM drive. please ensure that the Diablo II disc is in the CDROM drive and press Retry.

is there something i need to download to fix this problem? I have a key for both diablo 2 and the expansion, i just really don't want to have to get a new game just because my cds are messed up.
Well, if only the CD-s are messed up, and u have valid CD-keys, then U should download the CD-s ISO file, and use DaemonTools. (Maybe not ISO, but something like this). GL!!
actually what you should really do is goto battle.net Create an account. Add your game keys to ure profile and download the game off the site. It automatically comes with a LEGAL no-cd key patch.

I have tried doing this but an error shows up, I have contacted blizzard about it but they haven't given me a solution that works.
You said you tried going onto the blizzard site and downloading directly from there but an error shows up. What kind of an error pops up ? What does it say ?
