This is a quick how to for those that have lost or broken their Diablo (or another Blizzard Game) cd's.

First step:
Go to the blizzard store and register an account:



Second Step:
Once Registered goto the Account Link


Third Step:
Click on the Games image (You will have to click on the verify link in the e-mail that blizzard sent you upon registering for this to show up)


Fourth Step:
Click on Add Game and enter in your CD Key. Do this for each game you own. i.e. Your Classic + Lod Key.


Fifth Step:
Click on the download image for either PC or mac on the game title you wish to download. This will download the Blizzard Downloader to your PC


Sixth Step:
Launch the file you just downloaded and the Blizzard Downloader will proceed to download your game :)

Tried this and it works. Too bad banned keys are still banned :P

diablo 2 will down load on my pc but d2 lod will not download all the way..some poeple have told me it wont becasue i have win vista.. will this work to where i can play diablo 2 lod with out have to rename fils and stuff??

It will work fine on vista, its what i used.

mmm Doesn't help me because my key is lost with my game.

i tried downloading the LOD by itself and im not sure why but my computer didnt recognize it, diablo 2 would work but for some reason the LOD version wasnt working. So im probably going to download both versions from the website tommorow. can any1 please tell me if im doing something wrong?

Broke my CD, did all the steps you've posted (thanks by the way).
However, it still asks for my expansion CD. Burnt all the files on a CD, but even that didn't help.

Do I have to reinstall everything ?

Too bad you can't get Diablo 1...:/

I lost my EXP cd and im glad i found this, im gettin tired of playin other games, I WANT TO GAME ON D2, i am a fanatic
