but if you cant break 1k then go for 200-400 mf

Does anyone just have a solid MF amount that worked very well for you, not just 200-400, etc. Like a solid number.

There would never be one solid number. If I said 349% mf is the ideal number, do you know how annoying it would be to get exactly 349% mf. Possible yes, but annoying. I'd say that ranges like 300-400 etc. are accurate. 30-50mf won't throw off the percentages THAT much.

i can't imagine why anyone would want to bot to mf, if you've never found a godly item on your own then you're missing out on the "excitement". seriously, how fun can that be? the highest rune i ever found was a vex frmo teh council but when it dropped i was like holy sh*t.

if you want to save some time just buy a full tal's set, storch, anni, and infinity from lewt.com. it won't cost but like $40 bucks or something and you'll save countless hours. then do mf runs in 8player baal games. the best place i think is the icy cellar in act5. you'll get massive exp and good items too. make sure you got the best light resist though. those cloud things will blast your ass.

don't bother with griffon's and w/e setup goes along with it. tals adds tons of life and it's cheap as hell. i think eschutas/occy is better (been over a year sinc ei played) but keep full tals to start unless you can trade for that other stuff.

don't worry about how much mf you have, it seriuosly makes very little difference. it increases your chances from like 1/10000 to 5/10000 to find godly stuff. like that one dude said, killing speed is much more important. above 200 is plenty.

first off, i have found godly items before.
second, botting is as much fun as mfing, because you wake up and just wanto see if ur bot got anything.
Thirdly, mf does increase your chances alot.
Lastly, buying items is really really gay.

yeah and i bet you buy lottery tickets too. haven't you seen the dropoff charts from 200 to 400 mf? it's like a difference of 30 mf. you guys get blinded by the words MAGIC FIND.

kill speed is much MUCH more important once you have about 200 mf. after that, if you're saccing kill speed to get up to 900 mf (which is only about 350) you're just wasting your time.

well i normally don't buy items, but i started playing d2 after taking a year or so off. this was a while back. and i just wanted to spend a little money instead of spending hundreds of hours looking for that crap.

The tals set bonus worked for me the best with a blizz sorc ofcourse blizz sorc used in begging of season as easiest to MF with, but at one stage had 800mf, then had 300-400 mf, found my two fathoms from 400mf roughly, so having 800mf did nothing for me really except be a pain at keeping her alive also you could not bot with that thing properly.

Had my lighting sorc with perf everything griffs/esh/inifity the works could clear out baal runs instantly and killed baal in hell with two or three shots.

What I am getting at does it really matter? with the 400mf sorc you will eventually get something good running your andy,meph, pindle sort of route.

Where as with that lighting sorc/or even hammerdin you can do andy,meph,diablo,baal,pindle,key run all in the time it took your mf sorc to do its run and will also find something good eventually because of the speed with which you doing something. With mfing its all about your patience with a little luck involved if you run andy 100 times a day you will eventually get that SoJ wont you.
