I just stopped by to look, and I'm wondering why no tap is allowed? When someone is building their melee character, the biggest thoughts in their head is life and retaining life. A character may rely heavily on that life tap/leach in duels to gain the upper hand.

I think everything should be allowed except spells and bows. Basically any range attack is bad.

O.K. Tap the forum guy is not BM and hence allowed =) Only gear that is really not GM is Grief and ethereal Fort.

I've seen purists go as far as saying No torches, Ravens, and Forts as well..

ive seen ppl say no death and andy or anything causeing ele dmg but yes iso more melee chars

nick i have no idea what your asking... but i think dr > 60k def yes

also... only way to get max dr with out a levi or shaft would be ss and if your using eth fort then other person can use exile so no complaining (imo tap>60kdef yes)

simple rules imo: no tap vs non-tap chars(conc/fury, etc)
no eth breakables(e fort/pul'd e temp's or w/e you can think of)
say go, no potting, no angling, and other self-explanatory gm dueling rules apply ofc

death is not considered bm on ladder
