Q: Selling Accounts - Blizzard Sector

Well now what I'm playing WOW, I never touch D2 and decided to sell both my accounts NL SC on USEast.
Not sure what I should sell it for but I have some godly items and characters on both accounts. My two questions are whats a ballpark price I should ask and where should I sell it.

I imagine the way to xfer both accts is to simply give the buyer my name and password and add his email to each account instead of my own?

Here's a few things on each acct to give you guys an idea:

You should sell your little goodies at d2jsp.org in exchange for forum gold which you can turn into WoW items. Good luck and have fun with that

Anyways anyone else have suggestions? Am I able to sell it on ebay possibly? I heard they banned auctions of that nature.

And if I do sell it, how exactly can I xfer it over? I assume give the buyer the name of the acct, get their email address on the acct etc?

Yeah they did. It's illegal to sell products from any Blizzard game.

There is no safe way. It's up to you how to divide risks, i.e. either getting the payment in advance or trusting the person and giving first.

plenty of other aution sites around .. just use one that doesnt ban selling d2 items, for example trademe.co.nz doesn't... sure theres plenty of others too

This is what I want to do now. Only problem is that the WoW section is a complete graveyard when you compare it to D2. Plus the fact that you have to be on the same server makes the whole process of buying stuff slower. I posted up a thread titled "Lothar-Looking to buy warrior gear". Hopefully someone from Lothar is browsing the forums....sometime this week.

Soooo yeah I'm thinkin I might just sell the accounts for cash again now...

Buy gold in WoW, but don't buy gear. All the decent gear is BoP (bind on pickup) which means that you cannot trade it. All the BoE (bind on equip) gear that is sold is shitty and not worth the gold.

That sounds extremely gay. I'd either just keep playing D2, give it away to someone worthy and quit, or sell it for real cash.

In all instances I'd probably just quit WoW if I were you.

I don't think you've played Wow yet. :) It's an extremely fun game...and causing me to leave D2, which I was an addict to. lol

Well now I've come to the decision to sell my D2 stuff for FG, and then convert that to Wow gold and just buy stuff at the AH or off fellow guildies. Either way buying Wow gold seems to be the way to go over buying Wow gear.

Now I'm just stuck finding someone from my server over at the FG site thats willing to do a trade. Sucks that there's so many servers...really narrows things down!
