Help with one of the downloaded items

Hey I downloaded the 284uniques file. How do I give it to my characters? One more question. My friend and I were playing the beta v1.10 together over TCP/IP and he had like 6 level 99 characters with all the new items and he wouldn't give me the site where he downloaded them. If anyone could help me out here that would be great.

use shadowmaster to upload the 248 uniques. the new stuff. i think d2trading post has them up for trade and freebees. not sure though

you can always just use a mod for xtra drops...u usually will find a shaft somewhere in the drops :

for open, use mods. for closed. botting in hell killing diablo. usually 1 out of 105 tries drops one

Aight then, Where exactly can Ifind a mod? I don't play open I usually play single or TCP/IP with my friend hopefully it'll work

if you got expansion. you can use mods. you can find them at www.diablo2mods.com

Elvariand, if u still havent found a drop mod, then try the one i attached... just replace the patch_d2.mpq in your directory with this one. It increases drops, allows the diablo clone to spawn, makes cows afraid of you in cow levels, and makes them all drop rares or uniques. You'll find plenty of shaftstops, as well as other good items there. It also allows the cows to drop the annihilis (sp?) small charm, and lets you hold as many of them as you want.

P.S. this mod, to my knowledge, currently only works for the 1.10 patch on single player. If you play multiplayer, you both need the mod (i think...)

most of the files in d2mods you gotta look at. some work. some dont. phrozen hasnt been keeping up with his site again. he said he quit playing so his site is going to be sitting there. I'll see if i can take over since he uses ftp for site building like i do. and i'll add to it later on:
