Battle net Problems - Blizzard Sector

Well I was wondering what the max time for the Modem error is. Normally I only get it for a few minutes, but now it is on all realms but Asia for the past 5-6 days.

I tried to use the d2loader to get on w/ a different cd key, but I put it in wrong or something and it ended up giving me the modem error after the incorrect cd key message. I tried it on all realms but Asia, and now the only realm that will let me on w/out the modem error is Asia.

Has anyone else had this problem before? If so, how long do you feel that it will take for me to get back on? Thanks for reading.

I guess try reinstall?

Reinstall seemed logical, as it had worked last time something like this happened, but when I gave it a try it did not work. I guess there is no harm in giving it another shot. If not, I'll just give them an e-mail. Thanks

no problem also try deleting all the files first ya know from d2 get rid of them

Meh no luck with the re-install. By the time blizz gets back to me, all my mules will be expired anyways. I guess this is as good a time as any to quit..

I had that problem, same reason to, the ban max. is 2 weeks, mine lasted 1 week and 6 days, my advice, try once a day.

if you get a message that won't let you on bnet saying port 1228 isn't open what does that mean is there a way to fix it

Thanks for the info shift, btw this is jellybean if you didn't know. Well this sucks not being able to fix it. Is it possible to alter my ip address without screwing anything up? If I'm gonna stop playing d2, I'd prefer to sell my stuff for jsp gold :/

For refference, I've tried the unplug modem for 5minutes method. The overnight I have not, due to personal reasons. I'm looking for more of a program or editable function.

if u have cable internet, well u need to contact ur service provider to change ur ip
otherwise, if u have dsl, usually simple re-connect changed the last digits and its usually enough for ip bans

Another thing Jelly, do you use a router or just the modem, assuming you have cable and a modem.

I use a wired router. I can connect it directly to the modem if needed though.

Connect to your modem, since your modem and router use different ip's (usually) you should be able to connect fine.

B.net is startign to piss me off thye gotta chillax on those ****** IP BANS so far i been gettin them alot 3 times already today.. all id id was join and leave 3 games and then bam i cant logon then right now i try to login again and i suddnely get disconnected and try to connect again and guess what IP BAN im like omfg b net needs to chillax and let a nigga play.

If your ip ban has exceeded the normal lenght then you should contact blizzard, they've posted on their forums to contact them if these issues arise.
