Rainbow Facet Jewel question please reply. - Blizzard Sector

Now I looked all over the place for an answer, and I couldn't find one. So my question is lets say i'm a fissure druid I run out of town cast fissure near town exit then run back in. I use on my first switch a 6 30/30 socketed crystal sword, and for my shield I use a 4 socketed 20/20 monarch shield. So lets say I had a hoto and a spirit on my second switch first on my second switch I run out cast fissure then run back in and then I immediately switch back to the crystal sword and the monarch will the - resist from the faceted items still take effect after being casted from hoto/spirit? I know this works for poison and death's web/20/20 poison faceted shield with rabies, but unsure if it works with fissure, ideas?

if it works with other skills, then it should work with fissure
but do facets affect fissure damage in the first place?
i dont know of anyone who's tested what ur saying tho, try it out in single player with hero editor or sometihng

Thats another good question, do facets even work with fissure? I know they dont with traps.
