i told one man my password, one that i could trust no matter what. for some reason my computer broke. I came back like 4 months later to see that my friend kept all my chars active and didnt take anything. He's a really cool man.

I'm not telling you to give a pass to a friend, but rather if your comp breaks go to the library and pm a mod/admin your accnt and pass and have them keep it active. I pmd a mod about this, but he never did anything to keep it active. I dont remember who it was but if i wanted im surer i can find the thread again

also, funny story. my friend quit d2 for a while and wanted to start playing again. well he hadn't played for months so he thought his acount was probably expired. he logged on and on every one of his characters said "expires today". i was on the phone with him when he did this and he was laughing his ass off at this lol.

i saw that before, i had a couple a mule accounts recently, 1 with 50 soh (dont ask why i collect i just do) and 1 with probably a couple sojs in it, im not sure. Well i came back to the house logged on and it said expires today

With all due respect, these people are right. I lost about three monts of game time and a lot of good items whaen I was deleted for maphack. I wasn't happy but it was still my fault for doing something that could get me banned. I bought two more cd keys and went back to work. Now my chars accs and gear are better than they were. If you are serious about the game go play! If you think its worth time to compliain its damn sure worth the time to rebuild!

I like how the night a character will expire, it sometimes already says "expired", yet you can still log it in and renew it. last nite i just remembered my east mules were running low, they all said expired, but i was lucky i could still log them in
