Most Bizarre Drops You Have Encountered - Blizzard Sector

Figured I'd start a thread to see what great items were found unexpectedly from the most random creatures you've killed.

Sorry If thread has been made before... Never seen it around.

I had a griffons drop off a regular skeleton archer.

Don't know how bizzare this is, might not be that bizzare, but a Maras off the countess.

Back in 1.10 I was rushing someone for forge and i got an Ist from the forge and an Urder(Big fat looking monsters around forge) dropped a Vex. I was like

! And i found a SOJ from a maggot in normal when i was like lvl 15.

I recently had normal baal drop a SOJ while I was just out killing time. Only one other time have I had a SOJ drop and it was in hell doing Pindle or Eldrich.

The one other wierd item I found was a +1 to max damage grand charm with a level 67 requirement. I should have taken a screenshot cuz it was such a crappy charm for such a high level requirement.

I got 2 carrion winds from andy. They were exactly the same. They even looked the same lol

i thought there were certain lvls for a monster to drop soj.... what i heard is the monster have to be lvl 39 or higher in order to drop a soj. that means in normal, only diablo and baal can drop a soj. therefore, i say u are bsing

Yeah, he is definately bsing. As in for myself, I was doing my mule's forge, and a random nearby monster dropped a Tal's armor (back then they were of some value). Also, I've found a lot of antiperf stuff, such as Eschuta 1/10/10/10.

Another time when I was doing andy runs with my sorc in hell... I had within 10 games back to back of running andy... 4 - 5 Gheeds drop. I use to go to to lobby and say if you want gheeds go to... but no one ever came so like 5 gheeds went to waste :\

And would you bet the highest percent I found out of all those gheeds was 27 :\

I had Normal Andy, Meph, and Diablo all droped an Angelic Halo while I was getting rushed. Just thought it was pretty bizzare.

I got a tal amy off one of those trapped soul pillars in a4 in norm - swear to god! Also got gores from a carver with my zealer who had zero mf. Usually though the great uniques I have find have junk stats - the last shako I found had like 98 def

found a GF from a regular monster in hell throne
sur from diablo in hell (first hr ive ever mfed, ever)
i, too, have found a griffons from a regular monster, except i found one off of the blood lords in a3 hell in trav. shitty stats, but i was like "wow what is this item guys".. been playing maybe 4 months.

I believe that is impossible, only 1 of the same unique item can drop in 1 game.

Mine would probably be that the first time my barb solo'd hell meph back in .09 a SS droped. I've found too much good stuff off using a bot to remember when I found items anymore tho.

My friend told me that when youre in the maggots lair or whatever, anything can drop, this may be why he got a SOJ, or mabye my friend's pulling my leg
