Showing closed bnet chars as open bnet? - Blizzard Sector

yes folks, i'm sure you experienced that before a few days ago, i was just wondering why did this happen, can someone explain it to me? it's just so weird.

uh what are you talking about? ur closed showed up ur open lisT?? if so, that didnt happen cuz i played open a few days ago.

no, its that when i played closed, my char appeared with the appearance of a closed one, i mean in the channel, it has the cape like if it was an open char. And when i played open, to check if there was a problem, i joined a game in open, and my comp freezed.

I have not had that happen to me but i did have this thing where i joined a channel and when i left and switched char and when back all the people in the channel were at the bottom still and i wasnt even in a channel and it stayed that way for a while.

Yeah i'm wondering that too. Same thing happened to me. I asked in the main channel and they said prolly because i used mh's. Maybe instead of banning they are converting us to open?

I don't think so, cuz I havent used mh at all, got banned by it, im not stupid enuf to use it again. Mabye it is a glitch from bnet itself and they don't wanna accept it, since they have been so careless on d2, and more on WoW and Wc3.

Whats going on is closed players are being viewed as open accounts, which means theres changes on the diablo server, which i am assuming means either a rust storm, or some kind of mod or something maybe to the warden client. This doesn't happen randomly or for no reason.

yeah lol I just saw what you were talking about. I started playing east realm and logged on I was like wtF? did I logg onto closed lol hmm It looked like they sorta fixed it last night. but its only on east not on west.

but as far as joining non ladder games I joined a game with someone not in a robe just fine.
