My merc has eth obe cryptic axe, and he does 11k with concentration, so I would say obe's best. Bonehew's interesting as it gives sockets that could help

It really depends on the type of character you are using.

IMO, Infinity is the best merc weapon because nothing can help a sorc any more. Insight is my favorite for hammerdins, because they get infinite mana.

i use eth bonhew with 2x40/15s in it, 40/15 tal helm and eth stone, he does a crapload of damage for those fire immunes to my sorc.

infinity for baal runs with sorces, insight for botting, eth reapers for meleers and eth thresher pride with zealot fant pally for maximum dmg.

I am non ladder so i go for eth doom cryptic axe + might merc is pretty good mine does 11k damage (with my concentration aura)

Hmm .... And BotD is not there to .... Its a good merc weapon i Think it has high dmg and Life steal..

well... high runes DOES come with high expectations right? But if iyou consider the cost of those runes, the most cost efficient is Insight and the most damaging 1 would be Obedience.

Ral-Tir-Tal-Sol (all VERY low runes)
Craprune-Craprune-Hel-Ko-Fal (all low runes and 1 medium low rune [fal])

I play NL so I cant make the new Runewords ..... Thats why BotD is a good merc weapon (I know its Expencive but its one of the best on NL)
