Credits: 15 Spent time on board: 0:47:14 Hours Rep Power: 6 ![]() | i read a while ago ( like 6 er 7 months ago ) that if you put "-w" in the d2 command line, it will start d2 in a regular window....i think this is what ur talkin about anyway, i've never tried it so if it doesnt work or if u dotn understand, i can help ya any more than i may have already :/

Credits: 30 Spent time on board: - Rep Power: 10 ![]() | okay. go into your diablo directory, where the original game is that you open to run it...then make a shortcut to the game and put it on your desktop. then right click the shortcut thats on the dekstop and select properties, at the bottom of the list. the window comes up that shows the properties of the file, and there will be a text box that says (depending on your placement of the diablo folder): target file: "C:\Program Files\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe". now! outside the quotations, put -w and hit okay. then open it and it should run in window mode. if anything goes wrong, lemme know hope that is specific enough. |

Credits: 0 Spent time on board: 0:01:04 Hours Rep Power: 4 ![]() | i've did what u said, but it coems up with a message saying: The name '-w"D:|Diablo II\Diablo II.exe"' speceifield in the Target box is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct. am i doing the wrong thing? thanks |
