closed account - Blizzard Sector

this guy in my clan got his account closed because his account name was unappropriate. his acc name was XO-Rapist. our clan asked blizzard what happened and they said that the name was inappropriate. we have been using it for like he last 7 months! did this happen to anyone else?

i see people with names like (a part on your butt) warts and they dont get their names banned... so i doubt it

Blizzard doesn't actively search for inappropriate account/character names. It takes a complaint before they will do anything.

Hmmm this all seems interesting i guess we should all make our account names and character names dirty and offending as a protest towards B-net for your fellow clan member

I doubt there is any truth behind that story. Only game they will do random name checks on is WoW. At least they actually have a naming policy on it.:

i have an account with a sorc named BushMuncher, barb named HungLikeOxen, pally named ColoeredDude, and a druid and necro whose names i cant remember atm.
