K, just five minutes ago I was doing baal runs with my 87lv sorc which equiped has lv31 skills. In the game was a 78lv hammerin who said the lv of his hammer is 37.
I almost fell of the chair (and its a lazy boy).
So the question is what is the highest skill lvs every character in the game can reach.

can get 40+ on casters with skill gcs,10 of em fit in your inventory thats +10 skills there 20 base points,2 sojs +2,shako +2,maras+2,enigma/coh +2,hoto +3,anni +1 thats 44 there plus depending on what +skills on your shield you wear.

Edit: oh almost forgot plus 1 skill from bo also if you have cta

Yeah its not hard to do, without trying, my necro (lev 81) has a level 41 Bonespirtit, I wasnt even trying to go for skill points, it just came along with what im doing. A cool accident indeed.

I've seen like a 44 blizz sorc. +3 blizz Ormus, Anni, Shako, 5/5 perf Fathom, Lidless, Maras, 10 cold GC, CoH. Kwazy mad.

wind druid:
+3 ravenlore+2 enigma+3 hoto+1 lidless+3 ele ammy+2 sojs+1 arach+1 anni+1 cta=17+10 gcs=47 highest lvl. with earth shifter, lvl 50 is the highest skill

an asn can have pretty hi traps
20 from skills +10 from 3 trap 2 ls claws +3 from trap helm + 3from trap ammy + 2 from enigma +2 from sojs +1 from arach +1 from anni +1 from cta +10 trap gc = 53 to ls

u can get up to 55 actually, but 2x +4 to light sentry claws are pretty impossible to find

The highest possible skill level is for a barb. It would 40ish skills but Warcry's would be 54.

Do the math people.

EDIT == In case you are retarded or just lazy, here's the math:

20 base skills + 10 from GC's + 3 Wolfhowl (or any barb helm, possibly 4 if it's crafted or magic) + 10 from 2x CTA's + 1 from Arachnids + 2 SOJ's + 1 crafted gloves (possibly 2) + 1 from Anni + 3 from crafted ammy + 3 from Enigma = 54 skill points.

And you could still go further than that.
