I know there's a thread on Diablo III, but this is something different. If Blizzard decided to make a Diablo III (Please?) a pay-to-play game, would you do it? I know tons of people are playing WoW, giving Blizz tons of money - But what about Diablo?

yeah, it depends on the price. but also, i'd pay at least onece to try it. ya know, to see graphics, gameplay, etc. see how it is. but price is the major factor.

ill not pay for than 8 bucks a month if d2 is a pay to play game...

well it would kinda help stop the hacking if it were a pay to play... cuz blizz reps then could join the game.... but I dunno depending on how good it is and how much it is then I might pay...

idk i dont think it would be 20 bucks i think it would either range from 5-10 bucks b/c of WoW and other products that it is making in fact they may even have it sponsored still as a free game b/c companies do a lot of spamming on the game

i know i probably wouldn't because i tend to lose interest in games after a month or 2. I have FFXI and i played that for about 2 months and then quit but still payed to have the account for like 3 months...so unless the game could keep my attention as well as d2 has then, no probably not.

I would pay because i play d2 like 4 hours a day and my bot runs for like 10 hours a day... my mom prolly wont let me though

Most p2p games have 1 free month with them, hence the price of the game. Which is stupid since the free month is pretty much a month incorporated with the price. But if its like holy shit i dont know what i would do without this game than of course, I payed for planetside for like 6 months because the game was fun as hell.

I would definitely play, I've been wanting it to go to a pay game for a while now. Imagine, no more spamming and scamming. How nice it would b, go ahead and hate me, but I wouldnt think it b any different than Dark Ages of Camelot like 10$ a month. Not to mention you would lose a lot of the immaturity in the game. Playing with more serious people hmm, yeah I'm thinking it would b way nicer. And to think that they would have techs monitoring all the time for bs that goes on in Bnet they always say there gonna fix. Would bring back the challenge of the game too, which was lost in 1.09 with the masses of sojs and has gotten even more rediculous now. Just imagine what runes would really b worth if you couldn't dupe them and how powerful you would "really" b if you had a legit enigma!

nah thats what makes a game fun and for no matter what there will always be scamming,duping or some way of hacking in any kind of game but idk i like being a froobie and playing the game for like a month or year while it's free
